Objective of this role

  1. Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  2. Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  3. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in a global marketplace
  4. Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  5. Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that’s always up and running

Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Perform IT administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  2. Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
  3. Maintain internal infrastructure including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments and maintain related records of the same
  4. Administer Microsoft O365, Firewalls, cloud portals and generate weekly reports
  5. Interact with the IT Team and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
  6. Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Preferences

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent
  2. Proven work experience in IT (at least 2 years)
  3. Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
  4. Experience in project management, application design and integration
  5. Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
  6. Two-wheeler license and vehicle is a plus

Note: The candidate should be willing to work on Saturdays and Public Holidays
